Zach Galifianakis in talks to star in remake
Comedian Zach Galifianakis is the latest in a long line of actors to be touted for title role in the remake of the 1964 fantasy film The Incredible Mr Limpet.
The remake was originally a never-produced animated film starring Jim Carrey, tipped for a 2006 release by Warner Brothers.
Robin Williams expressed interest in the role, and Johnny Depp was also listed as a possible contender.
Galifianakis, who starred in the Hangover and Due Date, is rumoured to be considering the film, which now has Enchanted director Kevin Lima attached.
The original film, a blend of animation and live action, is about a human called Mr Limpet, who transforms into an animated fish with special powers in order to help the US Navy defeat the Nazis.
