Meanwhile, PewDiePie made headlines last week after someone hacked over 50,000 printers to ask users to subscribe to his channel.

Appearing on Twitter as TheHackerGiraffe, the individual took to Reddit to admit what he’d done. “I hacked 50,000 printers worldwide out of potential 800,000 for PewDiePie and security awareness,” he said on the site’s AMA page.

Commenting on the lack of security, they said that they were “horrified to see over 800,000 results show up in total”.

Meanwhile, Logan Paul’s career was rocked at the beginning of the year after he uploaded a video featuring the body of a suicide victim.  The clip, which was watched over one million times on Paul’s YouTube channel, showed the vlogger and his friends discovering a dead body in Japan’s Aokigahara Forest, a notorious suicide hotspot.

Paul later uploaded a more lengthy second apology and begged for a second chance. He subsequently returned with a video about suicide awareness, before returning to regular content. He had an interview pulled from Radio One following uproar.
