He's feeling confident....
Jeremy Corbyn has claimed that he believes he will be Prime Minister by the end of 2018.
The bold claims came in in a wide-ranging interview with Grazia, which saw the Labour leader talking up his chances of entering Downing Street within the next year.
After Labour were responsible for stripping the Tories of their majority at this year’s General Election, Mr Corbyn reportedly admitted that he would be Prime Minister by Christmas.
But while Theresa May has remained in power after partnering up with the DUP, the Labour leader now believes that “there will probably be another election in the next 12 months”.
“I will probably win. I’m ready to be prime minister tomorrow”, he boldly admitted.
The interview also saw Mr Corbyn opening up on the allegations of sexual misconduct faced by several Labour MPs – and confirmed that all allegations are being dealt with effectively.
“I’m horrified and appalled by it all. I think sexism is a real challenge in society that needs to be dealt with. The allegations are all investigated and dealt with as appropriate”, he said.
“We support the people making them as well as the people being alleged against.”
Mr Corbyn added: “We’re dealing with some cases and they are of course disturbing when you get them.”
