Kanye West thinks Bill Cosby is innocent

Rapper recently referenced the comedian in his track 'Facts'

Kanye West has expressed his opinion that Bill Cosby is innocent following recent sexual assault allegations.

The veteran comedian was recently charged with sexual assault following a series of sex abuse allegations. Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004. To date, Cosby has been accused by 54 women of sexual misconduct. Most fall outside the statutes of limitations for legal proceedings.

On Tuesday night (February 9), West took to Twitter to write: “BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!” He offered no further comment on the matter.

Cosby was also referenced in West’s recent track ‘Facts’. The lyrics include the lines: “Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey?”

Meanwhile, West has also taken to Twitter in recent days to apologise to Michael Jordan after referencing him in Nike diss track ‘Facts’, express his desire to create kids clothing and declare himself the greatest artist of the 21st century.

West has also said that the his new album has the initials T.L.O.P. but is still yet to confirm its full name.

With the record formerly known as ‘So Help Me God’, ‘Swish’ and ‘Waves’ due for release on Thursday (February 11), West is in the studio finishing the final verses. However, he took time out to share an update on its progress with Twitter followers as well as previewing the Yeezy season 3 clothing line he will launch alongside the record.

West says that anyone who guesses the initials of the album will win tickets to the Season 3 launch and a pair of Adidas Yeezys.
