Kirsten Stewart quashes ‘Superman’ rumours

'Twilight' actress 'was never approached', says publicist

Kristen Stewart‘s publicist has quashed rumours that the actress turned down the chance to play Lois Lane in the forthcoming Superman reboot.

The Twilight actress was rumored to be director Zack Snyder ‘s favourite to play the Daily Planet reporter in the new film, opposite new Superman Henry Cavill.

The Tudors actor was announced as the film’s lead on Sunday (January 30).

Some media reports suggested that Stewart decided to reject the part, but her publicist has told that her client never even had a meeting about appearing in the film, which will be titled Man Of Steel.

Stewart is, however, in negotiations for the Snow White role in forthcoming Rupert Sanders film, Snow White And The Huntsman.
