Kit Harington reveals the unusual keepsake he took home from the ‘Game of Thrones’ set

...And he keeps it in his shed

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington has revealed that he took an unusual keepsake from the set of the HBO show.

Speaking to Zoe Ball on her new Radio 2 breakfast show earlier this week, Harington revealed that he kept a statue of his character, Jon Snow, from the Winterfell Crypt.

Seen recently in the new Game of Thrones teaser trailer from HBO, the statue of Snow and other members of the Stark family has led many fans to speculate that it may link in some way to their deaths at the end of the season.

Speaking about the statue, Harington said: “I kept that statue. You know, the one in the crypt…I kept it. They sent it to my house so I’ve got it in my shed. How sad is that?”

He continued: “I was the only one who kept their statue. That’s now narcissistic I am. I’m going to turn it into a water feature.”

In the same interview, Harington also gave some more hints about the ending of Game of Thrones, telling the new host of the Radio 2 breakfast show that he’s “maybe not happy, but very satisfied” with how things end in the show.

He added: “I’m so excited for people to see it…I think it’s going to be extraordinary, hopefully it’ll change TV again like it did originally, and break boundaries. I think it might.”

The final season of Game of Thrones will return on April 14.
