TV reality star previously got into a dispute with Kylie Minogue
Kylie Jenner recently sported a Pixies t-shirt for her niece North West’s birthday.
Kim Kardashian’s half sister visited her sibling’s home wearing a vintage 1989 ‘Doolittle’ Tour top over the weekend. Jenner posted a GIF of her t-shirt on her Instagram page. You can view it below.
Doolittle was the Pixies’ second album following the release of ‘Surfer Rosa’ the year before.
Last year, Jenner and her sister Kendall also launched a fashion range, which appropriated a range of classic band t-shirts.
Shirts featuring the likes of Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Ozzy Osbourne were edited for the pair’s range and featured the Jenner’s likenesses displayed across the classic artwork.
At the time many music fans were left infuriated by the move. It prompted bands like Arcade Fire to sell their own version of the Jenner band t-shirts, in protest.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star first tried to trademark the name back in 2014, before Minogue fought back claiming it would ‘dilute brand’.
Minogue’s legal representatives argued that the trademark should not be allowed, claiming that the singer is an “internationally-renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast cancer activist known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie'”, while Jenner is “a secondary reality television personality”.
