Liam Neeson to replace Mel Gibson in ‘The Hangover 2’

Actor will shoot his cameo role soon

Liam Neeson will film a cameo appearance in The Hangover 2 this Sunday (October 31) in Los Angeles after being announced as the replacement for Mel Gibson.

Gibson was dropped from playing the role of a tattoo artist in the film because of objections from the movie’s cast and crew.

Now reports that director Todd Phillips has moved quickly to enlist Neeson, a fan of the original Hangover film.

Neeson said, “I just got a call to do a one-day shoot on (The) Hangover 2 as a tattooist in Thailand, and that’s all I know about it.”

The Hangover 2 is released on May 26 next year.
