Lindsay Lohan no longer playing Linda Lovelace in ‘Inferno’

Director will recast the lead in pornstar biopic

Lindsay Lohan has had her offer to play porn star Linda Lovelace in a forthcoming biopic withdrawn.

Director Matthew Wilder has told that Lohan will no longer star in Inferno, the biopic of the iconic Deep Throat star.

“We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan,” he said. “We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working on the legalities of bringing her on board.”

He added: “We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her – and some other issues – have made it impossible for us to go forward.”

Chiefs at say they will be announcing the identity of the “amazing actress” who is lined up to replace Lohan tomorrow (November 23).

Earlier this year Wilder said that production on Inferno would be put on hold while Lohan was serving jail time for violating her probation after two drunk driving incidents in 2007.
