Macaulay Culkin has opened up on his experiences filming Home Alone, and why he struggles to watch the Christmas classic.
The iconic film, released in 1990, saw Culkin being catapulted to fame in the role of burglar-bashing Kevin Macallister.
But 28 years after the film’s release, Culkin says that he struggles to watch the film without remembering what was happening on set during the filming of a particular scene.
“I can’t watch it the same way other people do”, he explained during an appearance on ‘Ellen’.
He also described the film as “”background radiation at Christmastime” and admitted that people have asked to watch it with him, an offer which is “flattering and creepy.”

It also transpired that he’s been swamped with requests to recreate the face that a young Kevin pulls after applying a tingling spray of aftershave.
“I’ve been there, done that already. I’m 37, OK? OK, Mom?”, Culkin joked.
Last month, Culkin also appeared on The Tonight Show – where he spotted a pretty glaring plot hole with Home Alone.
