Both of this summer's big superheroes will ride again after 'Avengers' movie
Marvel has confirmed sequels to its movies Captain America and Thor despite neither having been released yet.
The comic publisher’s spin-off studio has a busy year coming up, with two blockbusters based on its characters.
Chris Evans will star as the US military warrior in Captain America: The First Avenger, while Chris Hemsworth plays the titular God Of Thunder in Thor, with both set for release this summer.
Both actors will feature in the upcoming all-star movie The Avengers, alongside Robert Downey Jnr‘s Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk and Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye. But Marvel president Kevin Feige has now confirmed that two sequel movies will also be made.
He told D23 Magazine: “Thor will go off into a new adventure, and Captain America will continue to explore the modern world in another film of his own.”
