Lady Gaga accuses Donald Trump’s wife Melania of hypocrisy on Twitter

Gaga encourages her followers to vote for Hillary Clinton in tomorrow's US presidential election.

Lady Gaga has challenged Donald Trump and wife Melania while throwing her support behind Hillary Clinton.

After Trump’s prospective First Lady used a recent speech to bemoan online bullying, Gaga accused her of hypocrisy. Tweeting at Melania, Gaga wrote: “to say u will stand for “anti-bullying” is hypocrisy. Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.”

She then tweeted at Donald Trump, writing: “you divided us with hateful language & fear. I love everyone in this country and I vote for @HillaryClinton to unite us.”

She also urged Americans to come out and vote for Clinton and changed her Twitter handle to #VoteHillary. “Young people listen up. We need to mobilize now, #VoteHillary and stop this dangerous man from continuing to divide and wreck our democracy,” she wrote.

With the election taking place tomorrow (November 8), an increasing number of musicians are sharing their views and urging Americans to vote. In this week’s NME, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has compared Trump to Hitler and blamed his rise on “uneducated white working-class people”. He also revealed that some of his family members are Trump supporters.

Madonna is due to play a last-minute acoustic gig in New York City tonight in support of Clinton, Trump’s rival. The Queen of Pop previously offered to give anyone who votes for Clinton a blowjob during her appearance at one of Amy Schumer’s stand-up gigs.

Meanwhile, Trump has attacked Jay Z over his use of the N & F-words during his performance at Clinton’s rally in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday (November 4). “I’ll tell you what: I’ve never said what he said – in my life!” he told supporters at his own rally in Tampa, Florida the following night.
