21 Savage was the musical guest on today’s edition of ‘The Ellen Show’, where he also presented a huge cheque to charity.
The rapper performed the TV debut of new single ‘Bank Account’ on the show, taken from last year’s album ‘Issa’.
Following his performance, he announced that he’d started a financial literacy campaign in association with non-profit, Get Schooled, called ’21 Savage Bank Account Campaign’.
He then presented a cheque for $21,000 (£15,038) to the charity.
Watch his performance below.
“I started a 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign,” the rapper tells Ellen as he hands over the cheque.
“It’s to help kids learn how to save their money and make their money, and open up bank accounts for kids.”
The campaign hopes to encourage kids to think about money, and start saving for their future.
