RAPPERS’ DELIGHT

The late stars are honoured in New York...

[a][/a], TUPAC SHAKUR, LL COOL J and KRS ONE are amongst the 15 names who will be inducted into the HIP-HOP HALL OF FAME tonight (March 13) in NEW YORK.

The first ever induction ceremony will be held at the Puck Building in the city as part of the second Hip-Hop Super Conference in the city. It is unclear if memorabilia commemorating the names will be held in a permanent exhibition in the style of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, or if the induction is in name only.

The conference runs until March 15 and, aside from a film festival, workshops, business panels and talks on the cultural position of Hip Hop, will see the MC World Cup.
