The three-day camping experience first held in August returning for a second year
30 Seconds To Mars teased a “big announcement” earlier this week and have now announced the return of their Camp Mars event.
The band launched the three-day camping experience – which allows fans to participate in activities such as “hiking, climbing, yoga, cooking classes, raising the flag and camp fire sing-a-longs” – earlier this year, the first edition held in August.
The event will return to Malibu, California in 2016, running from August 12-14. Tickets will be available from November 4.
Singer Jared Leto and co released their self-titled debut back in 2002, followed by 2005’s ‘A Beautiful Lie’, 2009’s ‘This Is War’ and 2013’s ‘Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams’.
The band have been largely inactive since touring with Linkin Park during 2014.
Meanwhile, Jared Leto is set to play the Joker in next year’s Suicide Squad superhero movie.
Leto’s Suicide Squad co-star Will Smith recently revealed that he has never spoken to the 30 Seconds To Mars frontman out of character because he was “all in” as the Joker.
Over the summer it was reported that Leto had showered his cast-mates with unusual gifts including a dead hog, a live rat and bullets.
