Band released their last album in 2013
30 Seconds To Mars, the rock band fronted by actor Jared Leto, have promised that a “big announcement” is coming from them later this week.
The group, who last released an album two years ago, took to Facebook to post an image that promises that the big will follow on Wednesday (October 28).
Leto and co released their self-titled debut back in 2002, followed by 2005’s ‘A Beautiful Lie’, 2009’s ‘This Is War’ and finally 2013’s ‘Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams’.
The band have been largely inactive since touring with Linkin Park during 2014, leading fans to suggest that an announcement of a new album is approaching.
Jared Leto is set to play the Joker in next year’s Suicide Squad superhero movie.
Leto’s Suicide Squad co-star Will Smith recently revealed that he has never spoken to the 30 Seconds To Mars frontman out of character because he was “all in” as the Joker.
Over the summer it was reported that Leto had showered his cast-mates with unusual gifts including a dead hog, a live rat and bullets.
