50 Cent is to star in his own video game.
The rapper takes the lead role in Vivendi Universal Games’ 50 Cent: Bulletproof’ which will also feature appearances from Dr Dre, Eminem (who play the characters ’Grizz’ and ’McVicar’ respectively) and G Unit’s Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck.
“I’m as excited about 50 Cent: Bulletproof’ as I am about the success of my album, ’The Massacre’ and that means a lot since music has always been my life,” said 50 Cent. “The new freestyles and the addition of Eminem and Dre show that this game is on the right course to follow in the successful footsteps of my music.”
50 Cent: Bulletproof’ will feature new songs from the rapper recorded exclusively for the game, music from his two albums ’Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, ’The Massacre’ as well as 50 Cent and G Unit music videos.
The game will also offer a sound studio mode in which gamers can mix and match new original freestyles by 50 Cent with new beats from G Unit.
With the script written by former executive producer of ’The Sopranos’ Terry Winter, the game sees 50 Cent head out in New York’s drug underworld.
50 Cent: Bulletproof’ is due out in winter 2005. To view the trailer for the game, visit [url=]www.the50centgame.com .
