50 Cent has publicly responded on Instagram to criticisms made by Jay Electronica, it was revealed today (February 15).
When asked by a fellow Instagram user if he’s scared to respond to Jay Electronica, following comments the New Orleans rapper made recently, 50 Cent responded by saying he was unaware of who Jay Electronica is.
“who is that? I don’t even know a song from him. LMAO,” 50 Cent wrote in response to Instagram user @senzashaka’s question.
According to Hip Hop DX, rapper Electronica made comments about 50 Cent’s music: “50 Cent at once, he was a good rapper,” the Louisiana rapper says. “Right now he got the potential to be a rapper, but he’s on some sucker shit…and we will slap 50 Cent’s eyeballs loose out his scalp” as well as also calling out Kendrick Lamar.
In 2015, Cent also took exception to Meek Mill song ‘Gave ‘Em Hope’ and promptly began posting insulting messages and memes about his rival online.
Among 50 Cent’s many posts about Meek Mill was an image of the poop emoji with Mill’s face photo-shopped onto it alongside the caption: ‘”Hey shit head, your career is over already.”
He also referenced a number of the insults Drake levelled at him during their 2015 clash, including his relationship with Nicki Minaj (“LMAO Hey shit head, your career is over already. you better focus on getting Nikki [sic] pregnant so you can at least get child support girl”)
Meek Mill issued a lengthy respone in which he noted 50 Cent’s 2015 bankruptcy and also his age. “U going broke and you miserable,” he wrote in the caption to a picture of himself holding a huge pile of cash. “U really miserable bro…. You like 40 on the internet all day. Mayweather ain’t got tickets for you nomore …. Ya liquor is piss… U really miserable and don’t really have friends … You scared to play the mixes everybody b at! U never played with me in person because u know how we rocking lol I’m done wit you … This my last insta-fingers post for a min lol.”
The feud began with the suggestion that Meek Mill’s line “You tried to go “Money” May with that paper, but now you in debt cause you never was that” in ‘Gave ‘Em Hope’ was a reference to 50 Cent.
