50 Cent’s new album delayed

'Curtis' pushed back a week

50 Cent has put back the US release date of his new album.

‘Curtis’, which was originally set for release on September 4, will now be released on September 11.

The reason for the delay is due to the fact the original September 4 release date was too close to the Labor Day holiday on September 3.

A statement reads: “The decision was made to push the release one week so that is is available everywhere at 10am on the day of release.”

The delay is the latest is the line of setbacks for the album. The album’s original release date was June 26.

The date was put back due to the rapper’s desire to release the LP all over the world simultaneously.

50 Cent is also working on his fourth album ’Before I Self Destruct’ which he plans to release following the release of ’Curtis’, reports MTV News.
