50 Cent announces trio of UK arena tour dates

Rapper will perform in Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle later this year

50 Cent has announced details of a UK arena tour set to take place in November.

The rapper, who recently declared bankruptcy in court after being ordered to pay a woman millions for leaking her sex tape online, will perform three gigs in total on the tour.

Starting in Glasgow on November 4, 50 Cent will also perform at Manchester’s MEN Arena on November 6 and at Newcastle Arena the day after. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, July 24.

50 Cent is currently working on his sixth studio album, ‘Street King Immortal’, which is due for release in 2015. The first single from the album titled ‘Get Low’ ft. Jeremih, 2 Chainz and T.I can be heard below.

His fifth studio album, ‘Animal Ambition’, was released in 2014; the same year he debuted two EPs with the recently reunited G-Unit.

50 Cent will play:

Glasgow, SECC (November 4)
Manchester, MEN (November 6)
Newcastle, Arena (November 7)

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at the US Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Connecticut on July 13, with assets and debts both in the range of $10-50m (£6.5m–£32m).

Jackson has since labelled the declaration as a “strategic business move”, vowing to continue his commercial and financial pursuits.
