50 Cent admits he’s ‘ignorant’ after joking about Japan tsunami

Rapper had been tweeting about floods and 'bitches'

50 Cent has been slammed for posting jokes about the natural disasters in Japan online.

The rapper posted the comments on his Twitter page, Twitter.com/50cent. He made jokes about floods in the country as well as the tsunami and was slammed by other users and media sources.

“It’s all good, ’til bitches see their Christian Louboutins floating down da street,” he wrote. “Shit gone get crazy.”

Referring to the tsunami, he wrote: “Wave will hit 8am them crazy white boys going to try to go surfing.”

Though some of his followers actually reacted positively to his comments, the rapper did acknowledge that some people may have found his tweets offensive. After news agencies began to circulate his comments he wrote: “Some of my tweets are ignorant. I do it for shock value. Hate it or love it. I’m cool either way.”

50 Cent has often been criticised for his tweets, which have been derogatory toward other celebrities in the past.

The star also recently donated money he’d received for playing a gig for the Gaddafi Family to charity after it was revealed that he’d performed a private gig for them.
