50 Cent responds after ‘his son’ Tekashi 6ix9ine is arrested over racketeering charges

"My son got picked up, I told him don’t call me shit"

50 Cent has responded after Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested on firearms and racketeering charges.

The ‘Gummo’ rapper was arrested on Sunday, before prosecutors laid out their case against the rapper at an initial hearing yesterday. He faces over 3o years in jail on racketeering and firearms charges, following a joint investigation form the ATF, NYPD and Homeland Security.

But as a feud between the rapper and 50 Cent continues to escalate, the ‘In Da Club’ rapper has responded on Instagram.

My son got picked up, I told him don’t call me shit,” he wrote. “The Fed’s on you fool, call ya momma don’t put the FBI on my phone. positive vibes only.”

It comes after the two rappers were subject to surprising rumours this year which claim that they are actually related – speculation that was sparked by a questionable Instagram post 50 made back in the summer where he ‘claimed’ paternity over 6ix9ine.

Although the rumour appears unfounded, that hasn’t stopped the two referring to each other as ‘father’ and ‘son’ on social media. 6ix9ine appeared to be riled by 50 Cent enough to call out the rapper and actor on Instagram earlier this month, declaring that he would “FUCK UP 50cent [sic]”.

50 Cent screenshotted 6ix9ine’s threat and responded on Instagram, writing: “Aww fuck they are turning my son against me. I told him I’ll slap the colour out his hair, then knock the tattoos off his face but I didn’t mean it.”

Meanwhile, 6ix9ine yesterday announced that he will release his debut album next Friday – featuring appearances from Kanye West and Nicki Minaj.
