A DJ slipped Prince Harry his business card in a bid to score the Royal wedding gig

Jevanni Letford took the opportunity during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's visit to Reprezent Radio.

A DJ has revealed that he slipped Prince Harry his business card during a radio station visit, in hopes of playing at the Royal wedding.

Last week it was announced that Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle would be visiting Reprezent Radio in Brixton, with the visit happening today (January 9). The pair were visiting to find out more about the youth-orientated station’s work supporting young people through the creative industries.

During their visit this afternoon, one of the station’s presenters took the opportunity to hand his business card to Harry.

DJ Jevanni Letford posted a video on Twitter showing Meghan Markle and fiancé Harry being shown around the station. He can be seen handing a business card to the confused looking prince, who asks, “What’s that?”

“DJ at your wedding!” shouts Letford, as Harry bursts into laughter, before walking away.

After learning of Letford’s bold move, Twitter users – including the DJ’s mother – were quick to support him.

The Royal wedding will take place at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.

Over 33,000 people have clicked attending on a Facebook event for Harry’s stag do, however, the Prime Minister has announced that there are no plans for a bank holiday to be held for the royal wedding.

However, pub opening hours may be extended.

In November, Markle announced that she would be leaving her acting position in ‘Suits following her engagement to Prince Harry.
