Hip-Hop group will play two shows at Madison Square Garden in November
The group, who played a series of live shows this summer including a date at London’s Wireless Festival, will join the ‘Yeezus’ tour for two gigs at Madison Square Garden on November 23-24. A tweet sent by Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest after the New York shows were announced confirmed that the dates will be their “final” live dates.
In August, ATCQ did our last show FOR Cali. It’s only right we do our FINAL 2 joints where we started…NYC

Kendrick Lamar will also perform with Kanye West and A Tribe Called Quest in New York with the ‘Good Kid, Maad City’ rapper acting as main support on the whole tour. It was recently revealed that Lamar is working with US producer Flying Lotus on a new live show for the mammoth US tour.
While A Tribe Called Quest may be calling it a day, the individual members of the group were reported to be spending time in the studio together and working on Q-Tip’s forthcoming solo album earlier this year. The rapper is signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label and confirmed that he expects Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White to appear on the album.
The ‘Yeezus’ tour will mark Kanye West’s first solo tour in five years. Tweeting his announcement earlier this year, the ‘Yeezus’ rapper wrote: “TOUR” alongside a poster. Though Kanye has toured alongside Jay Z around the ‘Watch The Throne’ tour and played intermittent solo dates around the world, the dates with Kendrick Lamar will be his first lone venture since 2008.
