' I Care 4 U' is set to be released later next month...

A posthumous Aaliyah album is set to feature six unreleased songs.

The album, which currently has a title of ‘I Care 4 U’, will be a compilation of the late R&B star’s biggest hits such as ‘Try Again’ and ‘More Than A Woman’, alongside the unheard songs. A single from the album, ‘Miss You’, was recently premiered online. It is likely to be released in December.

In addition to ‘I Care 4 U’, Missy Elliott, who was a friend, is working on a tribute album to the late star, where artists will complete songs Aaliyah was working on at the time of her death.

She recently told MTV news: “You gonna hear a new Aaliyah album. Right now we’re working on getting the artists together. She has a lot of songs, so hopefully we’re going to get the artists to come in and sing the other verse on a song and keep one of her verses so it’ll be like a collaboration thing. I don’t have an exact time frame on it because it’s a lot of artists we’re trying to get for it, but it’ll be soon.”
