East coast rapper A$AP Rocky gave Drake‘s Beats 1 radio programme a boost last night (January 16) when he freestyled over the Canadian singer’s ‘Wu Tang Forever’ track.

The show, called ‘OVO Sound Radio’ was returning for its first episode of 2016 and featured a number of new and rare songs and remixes, including A$AP’s take on the ‘Nothing Was The Same’ track. Listen below.

Another Rocky release to be aired on Drake’s broadcast was an A$AP Mob tribute to their late former member A$AP Yams called ‘Lamborghini High’. The cut, which also features A$AP Ferg and A$AP Nast during its four-minute runtime, was first aired by the Harlem rapper at Clockenflap Fest in China. Listen below.

A$AP Yams, better known as the mogul behind the careers of A$ap Rocky and assorted members of hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, died aged 26 in January last year. A book of his best tweets, edited by New York artist Ajani Brathwaite, will be published later this month to commemorate the first anniversary of his death.
