A$AP and Tyler recently undertook a joint 14-date tour in the US
Footage has emerged of A$AP Rocky free styling over Tyler, The Creator’s track ‘Yonkers’ at a recent gig.
Both artists wrapped up their joint 14-date Rocky And Tyler Tour in San Francisco on November 15, and fan footage uploaded to YouTube shows A$AP freestyling over Tyler’s beat as the finale to the tour. You can watch the video below.
‘Yonkers’ featured on Tyler’s debut record ‘Goblin’, first released in 2011. The video for the track went viral at the time of its release and as of November 2015 has almost 80 million views on YouTube.
The Rocky And Tyler Tour is unlikely to make it to Britain any time soon however, as earlier this year Tyler was denied entry to the UK. The Home Department cited offensive lyrics from 2009 as the reason for the three to five-year ban imposed on Tyler. As a result, he was forced to cancel an appearance at Reading And Leeds Festival and several of his own headline shows.
Tyler’s Odd Future has been affected by infighting recently with group member Hodgy Beats claiming Tyler was a fraud during his performance at Odd Future’s Camp Flog Gnaw Festival over the weekend. Although the pair appear to have reconciled since, it only gave more credence to the potential demise of Odd Future which Tyler addressed earlier this year.
A$AP Rocky however recently performed a triumphant setat the o2 Arena in London as part of his UK arena tour with Wiz Khalifa.
He released his latest record ‘At. Long. Last. A$AP’ in June.
