A$AP Rocky settles lawsuit out of court after allegedly slapping female fan

Lisamarie Wade was seeking $75,000 in damages from the hip-hop star

A$AP Rocky has settled a recent lawsuit in which he was accused of slapping a female fan.

As previously reported, Lisamarie Wade claimed that the rapper slapped her when he went into the crowd during his set at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia in 2013. Wade was previously seeking $75,000 (£43,938) in damages in regards to the incident, with Wade claiming that the slap made her unable to “enjoy society with her minor child as a young, single mother”.

Now, TMZ reports that the two sides have now settled, although the exact amounts involved in the settlement have not been disclosed. The website also claim that the judge closed the suit with prejudice, which means that Wade cannot sue in relation to the incident again.

A$AP Rocky’s eagerly-awaited second album ‘At.Long.Last.A$AP’ will released on May 12. Rocky’s second studio album is the follow-up to 2013 debut, ‘Long.Live.ASAP’. It will include collaborations with rapper Juicy J and producer Clams Casino and was executive produced by Danger Mouse and the late A$AP Yams.

Speaking about his new album recently, the rapper stated that following the passing of producer A$AP Yams, who died aged 26 in January of this year, he was listening to The Doors a lot.

Last week, A$AP Rocky was filmed in altercation with a customer in a east London bagel shop. The video showed the rapper confronting an unknown man in a shop on London’s Brick Lane, ending with Rocky leaving in order to avoid things going further.
