A$AP Rocky is set to make his acting debut in new film Dope. See below to watch a trailer now.

Dope is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and will premiere this month (January) at the Sundance Film Festival. The film tells the story of three geeks who grow up in the gang and drug-ridden neighbourhood of Inglewood, California.

The film’s soundtrack is produced by P Diddy and will contain three new songs by Pharrell Williams and co-star Vince Staples, Forrest Whitaker, and Zoë Kravitz.

Rocky’s rap collective A$AP Mob recently suffered the loss of label head and mogul A$AP Yams. News of his death was announced earlier this week by fellow members of the rap collective, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, via Instagram.

The cause of A$AP Yams’ death is still unknown, the NYPD and medical examiners have confirmed.
