A$AP Rocky apparently cut short a gig on Tuesday night (June 4) after a crowd member allegedly stole his hat.
The rapper was performing in Dortmund, Germany when the alleged theft occurred and his increasingly frustrated reaction was captured on video camera by a fan. See above for a video of the incident uploaded to YouTube and discovered by HipHop DX.
“Who took my shit?” Rocky can be heard asking the crowd. “I came to party with y’all, give me my hat so I can. That’s a one-of-a-kind hat.”
As the video continues, Rocky keeps appealing for the hat’s return, warning the audience: “It’s either that or I ain’t partyin’ in this mothafucka anymore.” When the hat fails to materialise, he tells the crowd: “Germany, it’s been good. Thank you. I’m out this bitch. Peace!” He then clears the stage and the crowd respond with boos.
A$AP Rocky has recently completed a five-date UK and Ireland tour and returns to the UK next month for a set at London’s Wireless Festival on July 14. He’s also confirmed for this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals on August 23 and 24.
