A$AP Rocky plays a young Falcon in ‘Avengers’ mobile game

Rapper appears alongside John Cena in 'Marvel Avengers Academy'

A$AP Rocky is among a number of celebrity names who have contributed their voices to new mobile game Marvel Avengers Academy.

The game sees players control younger versions of the Avengers as they build a training academy in which to develop their special powers. A$AP Rocky plays the younger version of Falcon in the game, an Avenger who can fly and boasts a telepathic connection to birds.

Other members of the voice cast include Dave Franco, John Cena, Priyanka Chopra, Colton Haynes and Mad Men actress Kiernan Shipka. A trailer for the game can be seen below.

A$AP Rocky is developing a sideline away from music in Hollywood and appeared in coming-of-age drama Dope last year. He has also recorded a voice part for new animated HBO series Animals and makes a cameo appearances in Zoolander 2.

Skrillex and Justin Bieber also cameo in the comedy sequel, which follows Ben Stiller’s Derek Zoolander and Owen Wilson’s Hansel McDonald as they struggle to find their place in the cutthroat modern fashion world, before a secret agent played by Penelope Cruz recruits them to infiltrate a dangerous organisation which is systematically killing off the world’s “beautiful people”.
