AC/DC to release first new album in eight years

'Black Ice' is coming this October

AC/DC have announced that they will release their first new album in eight years, ‘Black Ice’, on October 20.

The 15-song album will be preceded by a single, ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Train’, out August 28.

‘Black Ice’ will be the band’s first new studio album since the release of ‘Stiff Upper Lip’ on 2000. It was recorded with producer Brendan O’Brien at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver.

The band are also set to release a DVD, ‘No Bull: The Director’s Cut’ – a recording of the band’s 1996 show at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid. The DVD will be released on September 8.

The band are set to embark on a world tour in October. Keep checking NME.COM for tour dates and ticket news.
