Action Bronson and Killer Mike rap battle on treadmills – watch

Rappers appear on The Eric Andre Show

Making an appearance on US late night comedy programme The Eric Andre Show on Thursday (December 20), Action Bronson and Killer Mike attempted a rap battle while running on treadmills.

The skit saw the two MCs struggle to string their words together, however, as the physical exertion began to take its toll. Click above to watch.

Killer Mike announced the appearance via Twitter on Wednesday (November 19), telling followers he was “hella high on dabs” during filming.

Bronson is currently preparing to release his new album ‘Mr Wonderful’. Speaking to NME in May, he described the record as “sounding “incredible”.

“The whole album is a standout,” said the Queens rapper. “I don’t care about individual songs, I’m trying to make a complete, classic project. I just do my music uninfluenced by anybody else, or current trends, and it comes together at the end. Nothing needs to have a fucking theme all the time. This is just rap. I’m not trying to make people think I’m some sort of scientific wizard or inspirational poet. Fuck that! It’s just happy, funny, rugged, rough rap.”

Mike, meanwhile, has been performing with rapper/producer El-P as Run The Jewels, having recently released their second collaboration record ‘RTJ2’. At a gig at the Echoplex in Los Angeles last week (November 13), the duo teamed up live with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine for performances of ‘All Due Respect’ and ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)’ respectively.
