The rapper recently released his major label debut 'Mr Wonderful'
Action Bronson has unveiled a series of UK live dates for later in 2015.
The stint will kick off at London’s Roundhouse on September 13, with the rapper then travelling to Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol later in the month. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 3) at 9am. See the full schedule below.
Bronson recently released ‘Mr Wonderful’, his first album released on a major label after signing with Atlantic Records. It follows a series of mixtapes, including the ‘Blue Chips’ series, produced by Bronson and production team Party Supplies.
Speaking about his new record to NME last year, Action Bronson commented: “The album is sounding incredible. The whole album is a standout. I don’t care about individual songs, I’m trying to make a complete, classic project. I just do my music uninfluenced by anybody else, or current trends, and it comes together at the end. Nothing needs to have a fucking theme all the time. This is just rap. I’m not trying to make people think I’m some sort of scientific wizard or inspirational poet. Fuck that! It’s just happy, funny, rugged, rough rap.”
Bronson will play:
London Roundhouse (September 13)
Glasgow O2 ABC (15)
Manchester The Ritz (16)
Birmingham The Institute (18)
Bristol O2 Academy 1 (19)
Action Bronson recently caused a stir by physically throwing a fan offstage during a set in his hometown of New York. The TV appearance had no such disturbances, however, with Bronson bursting into laughter at the end of the song before being applauded by Letterman.
Bronson was in the news recently after losing a game of celebrity ping-pong with Justin Bieber. The game took part during the All-Star Ping Pong Tournament, a charity event that raised funds for the American Table Tennis Youth Organisation.
