These are the acts rumoured for secret sets at Reading & Leeds festival

Who's it gonna be?

Liam Gallagher, Bring Me The Horizon, and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes are currently being rumoured on social media to be playing secret sets at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival.

Taking place over Bank Holiday Weekend from Friday 24 – Sunday 26 August, this year’s two-city festival will see performances from Fall Out Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Kings Of Leon, Panic! At The Disco, Courteeners, Wolf Alice, Pendulum, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Slaves and many more.

With previous years seeing secret sets from the likes of Green Day, Foals, Them Crooked Vultures, Jamie T, Wolf Alice and Queens Of The Stone Age, now Twitter is alight with more speculation about who’ll be following suit.

Its possible for Liam Gallagher to perform on both sites on Sunday August 26, as he has European festival shows on the two days prior. While Frank Carter has been coyly replying to fans asking if The Rattlesnakes may appear, R&L favourites Bring Me The Horizon are also being tipped to make their live comeback at the festival, having recently started teasing the release of new music.

UPDATE: It now looks like Bring Me The Horizon will be playing a secret Reading Festival set at 2.30PM tomorrow. It’ll then be followed by Leeds at 2.15PM on Saturday.

“An invitation to Salvation”, they teased.

Asked by Leeds Live about the possibility of secret sets this year, R&L lead booker Jon McIldowie replied: “Ermm…not that I can talk about but you said yourself, it is something we’ve done in the past – so it is possibly something we’ll do in the future.”
