JARVIS COCKER, Phil Oakey and Mute Records boss(and one time cult electronic artist himself with ‘Warm Leatherette’/‘TVOD’ recorded as The Normal) Daniel Miller will all DJ live on the new All Seeing I website www.theallseeingi.com.
The first live broadcast is tomorrow (Saturday) at 7.00 pm GMT with Winston Hazel from The All Seeing I sound system. Others lined up are Raith from Electric Chair and DJs from Sheffield club NYSushi. Other highlights planned are Phil Oakey‘s history of the synthesizer, Richard H Kirk (Cabaret Voltaire, Sweet Exorcist) and Mark Brydon from Moloko.
The site also has a chat room to allow people to talk live with the DJ while they’re on air. The shows will be archived for a month.
There’s also a chance to download an exclusive Mp3 format track, ‘Give UDI’.
The All Seeing I will be previewing forthcoming album ‘Pickled Eggs And Sherbet’ on the site before its release on September 20.
The All Seeing I play at Homelands (Scotland) tomorrow, Homelands (Belfast) on Sunday and release their new single ‘First Man In Space’ (featuring Phil Oakey) on Monday.
