Adele to perform US TV concert special

The show will be recorded at New York's Radio City Music Hall on November 17, airing on December 14

After recently announcing plans to perform new songs live in a hour-long TV special for the BBC, Adele has confirmed she will play a similar televised concert in the US.

American network NBC said that Adele will perform at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on November 17, taped for a later broadcast airing on December 14.

While the BBC special has been described as a hour-long programme hosted by and featuring interviews with Graham Norton, no further details have been confirmed for Adele Live In New York City.

The BBC concert will be recorded in front of a live audience on November 2, although the exact transmission date is yet to confirmed.

Meanwhile, Adele’s video for new single ‘Hello’ has become the second fastest music video to reach 100 million views on YouTube, behind Psy’s ‘Gentleman’.

‘Hello’ features on Adele’s new album ’25’, which will be released on November 20. The video for ‘Hello’ was shot in the countryside surrounding Montreal, Canada.
