But Miss Piggy isn't so keen on her sometime beau collaborating with the '21' songstress
The Muppets star Kermit the Frog has said that he would love to record a duet with Adele.
In a new interview, the fuzzy green legend and singer of The Muppets classic tunes, ‘Rainbow Connection’ and ‘Bein’ Green’, said that he’d love to record a track with the ’21’ singer.
He told OK Magazine when asked which actors and singers he admires: “Tom Hanks. If I were taller, less green and had hair, I’d want to be him. As for singers, it would be fun to duet with Adele some day.”
Sadly, Kermit’s sometime beau and full-time diva Miss Piggy isn’t so keen on the pair working together, immediately adding: “Sorry Adele, the frog isn’t available anytime soon.”
The world’s most famous frog has previously expressed a desire to work with dubstep star Skrillex, saying: “I’d love to collaborate with an electronic artist and I’d love to work with Skrillex, even though I’ve never heard his music. We don’t get electronic music in the swamp. There’s something about electricity and water that just doesn’t mix.”
On this, him and Miss Piggy agree, with the actress adding: “Moi simply can’t sit still when Moi hears dubstep. The bass is so powerful and the whole effect is so mesmerising and overwhelming! If I were a kind of music, I’d be dubstep.”
The pair’s latest screen offering The Muppets is out now on DVD. You can watch the trailer for the film now by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
