'21' singer's new gaff is complete with a helicopter pad, tennis court and media centre
Adele has showed off the new £7 million mansion she has moved into in a new US TV interview.
The mansion, which is costing the singer around £15,000 a month to rent, is situated in a remote part of West Sussex. You can watch the singer giving US TV channel CBS a tour of the house by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
The house has 10 bedrooms in total, two swimming pools, a helicopter hangar and landing pad, tennis court and a media centre. It is set in 25 acres of private land.
Speaking about the house, Adele described it as “a bit of a cliché” and adds that large parts of the house are empty.
The singer yesterday (February 15) denied that she is planning to take a five-year break from music.
The ’21’ singer was quoted on Tuesday (February 14) as saying she wanted to “fuck off for four or five years” to focus on her relationship with new boyfriend Simon Konecki, and would only return when she can write a “happy record”, but she has now backtracked on those comments.
Writing on her blog, Adele.tv/blog, the singer wrote:
I’ve a few days off now, and then it’s the Brit Awards here at home and then I’m straight into the studio. Five years? More like five days!
Adele picked up six awards at Sunday night’s Grammys, with ’21’ producer Paul Epworth also being named Producer Of The Year.
