Adele invited a fan who works as a doppelgänger for the star onstage for a photo at her gig in Birmingham on Tuesday (March 29).
The singer played the city’s Genting Arena last night as part of the UK leg of her ’25’ world tour. During the gig Adele invited Emily Bamforth, 27 from Northampton, on to the stage, with the pair chatting and taking a selfie. See the photo and fan-shot footage below.
Mail Online reports Bamforth has worked as a lookalike for Adele in the past, posing for pictures by photographer Alison Jackson, whose work regularly uses lookalikes to explore celebrity culture.
Bamforth has also uploaded Youtube make-up tutorials of how to look like the star. The fan’s fiancé Tom Winkler told Mail Online that the incident “made her night”.
