Adele, John Boyega and Florence Welch named among 30 most influential Europeans

Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran also feature in Forbes list

Adele, Star Wars: The Force Awakens John Boyega and Florence And The Machine singer Florence Welch have been named among the most influential Europeans under the age of 30.

The 30 Under 30 Europe list, which was compiled by Forbes, also includes actress Emma Watson, Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley, tennis ace Andy Murray, FKA Twigs, Ed Sheeran, Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis and rapper Little Simz.

Speaking about the honour Boyega told Sky News: “I just embarked on a journey of training and meeting new people, and I found myself going up for professional auditions, and I always wanted to do it, so it felt organic.

“When I found out about the reality of the acting industry … I was just like: ‘Do you know what, I’m just going to go for it anyway’.”

The full list features 300 young innovators and entrepreneurs from across 10 categories, including the arts, industry, and technology.

It was compiled by a panel of industry experts, which included Kelly Osbourne.
