Adele scores 13th week at number one after Glastonbury set

All three Adele albums are now in the top 20

Adele‘s third studio album ’25’ is back at number one on the Official Chart following her headlining performance at Glastonbury last Saturday night (June 25).

The album was previously at number 14 but has shot up to the top spot, with a 231% sales increase compared to the same period last week. This will be the 13th week ’25’ has been at number one.

Seven months following its initial release, ’25’ was made available to stream on Spotify, with the sales increase due in part to users adding songs to their playlists.

It’s not only ’25’ that is basking in the post-Glastonbury glory, ’21’ has also moved up 57 places to land at 10, while her debut ’19’ has moved 163 places to Number 12, back in the Top 40 after a six-month break.

Coldplay are also benefiting from their closing Glastonbury performance on the Pyramid stage, with album ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ enjoying a 28% sales increase and moving three places to land at Number 2.

ELO, who took Glastonbury’s Sunday afternoon’s ‘Legends’ slot, are up 4 to Number 3 with greatest hits ‘All Over The World’. Meanwhile, Drake‘s ‘One Dance’ remains at Number 1 on the singles chart, making it his twelfth week at the top.
