In other a Aerosmith news, speaking in his on-the-road diary this week, bassist Tom Hamilton revealed that the band, who have been in Japan, were caught up in an earthquake in Tokyo which measured 5.3 out of 7 on the Japanese scale, but said the rest of the band aside from he and guitarist Joe Perry were oblivious. “Nobody noticed… I knew I wasn’t crazy because Joe called me the minute it stopped and we compared notes… it was actually on the news a minute or two after it happened, they kept showing that and another scene … of people running around an office trying to keep stuff from falling off their desks as overhead light fixtures swing back and forth.”
He also describes the band’s recent cover-shoot for Rolling Stone magazine in New York’s Chelsea Hotel. To read the full diary entry, go to [url=]www.aerosmith.com.
