Work permit mix-up nixes surprise show for Mohammad Al Fayed's daughter...
Aerosmith cancelled their show at Harrods last night because they didn’t have a work permit, but the band showed up anyway in a horse drawn carriage.
The band were due to play a gig for the birthday party of the daughter of notorious Harrods boss, ‘businessman’ Mohammad Al Fayed but according to press reports, the paperwork was not submitted in time for the band to obtain the necessary work permits. Had they played even an impromptu show, it would have jeopardised their Wembley Stadium appearance on June 26, at the Toxic Towers event.
Al Fayed relaxed his ‘no jeans’ rule for the evening to allow the wizened rockers admission to the store and gave them a guided tour.
