There's also a big UK tour scheduled for next year...

AJ Tracey has announced news of his debut album and has dropped its lead single ‘Doing It’ – stream the track below.

The grime MC’s self-titled record is set to be released on February 8, with a UK tour following in March. Tracey’s live stint will conclude with a huge show at London’s Brixton Academy. See the full schedule below.

Tracey’s LP will follow five EP projects, which were released between 2015 and 2017. His latest – last year’s ‘Secure the Bag!’ – landed at Number 13 in the album charts. In August, the musician unveiled the single ‘LO(V/S)ER’

Earlier this year, Tracey performed at Snowbombing Festival. Describing the rapper as “a real talent” with “bigger and better things to come”, NME said that his set was “a masterclass in rapping, conveyed meticulously with his lips articulating every lyric at great speed and with fervour”.

Tracey told NME last year that he was influenced by rock bands such as 30 Seconds To Mars and Bullet For My Valentine, saying: “That music made me open up a more emotional path. Now I put more emotion into my music rather than just letting people hear what they want to.”

After the performance, Leto told the crowd to “remember [Tracey’s] face because you’re going to be seeing it everywhere”.
