Alanis Morissette to guest star on ‘Weeds’

Singer will star in seven episodes of series

Alanis Morissette is set to star in the fifth season comedy series ’Weeds’.

The singer will star as a clinic obstetrician, Dr. Audra Kitson who treats Mary-Louise Parker’s character Nancy in the series, which will premiere on June 8 in the US.

Morissette is no stranger to TV, having starred in other shows such as ‘Sex and the City’, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and ‘Nip/Tuck’.
