ALANIS MORISSETTE has confirmed details of a Canadian fundraising concert for later this month.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the vocalist announced her intention to perform “some sort of relief show” in a letter to fans shortly after the September 11 attacks in New York and Washington.
Now, the singer, alongside, the Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace and Bruce Cockburn will perform at the ‘Music Without Borders Live’ event.
The show is confirmed to take place at the Toronto Air Canada Centre on October 21, according to US press reports.
Funds raised will be donated to the United Nations Donor Alert Appeal. The appeal helps the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF, and the World Food Program. The show will also be broadcast on national television.
