Strokes guitarist currently working as a producer on The View's next album
Albert Hammond, Jr has announced a partnership with accessory manufacturer Jacques-Elliott that will see The Strokes’ guitarist put his name to a new range of ties.
Hammond, Jr unveiled the news in a Twitter post alongside an image previewing three of the ties, which will be available via the New York-based Jacques-Elliott next month.
The 34-year-old has been working as a producer alongside Gus Oberg on The View’s forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled fifth album – their first in almost three years. The Scottish band shared lead single ‘Marriage’ earlier today
“I would say that this record has really taken us out of our comfort zone,” said frontman Kyle Falconer. “It was a huge compliment having Albert and Gus produce the album and we’re really excited with the result. I think it’s our most inventive album yet, we really opened ourselves up to creative possibilities and thankfully the vision paid off.”
