All Points East 2019 confirm second headliner and more big names

Next year's festival will once again take place in east London's Victoria Park

Bon Iver has been confirmed as the second headliner of London’s All Points East 2019, as well as announcing Mac DeMarco, First Aid Kit and many more.

The sprawling 10-day music and entertainment festival will return for a second year next summer to Victoria Park in the Tower Hamlets region of the capital, with All Points East 2019 set to take place from May 24 to June 2. Bon Iver will be headlining the closing show on Sunday June 2.

Joining the above additions will also be John Grant, Tallest Man On Earth, Julien Baker, Snail Mail and KOKOKO. This comes after The Chemical Brothers were confirmed last week to headline the opening Friday of the Festival, along with Hot Chip, Primal Scream and Little Dragon. The likes of Spiritualized, Danny Brown, Little Simz and Ibibio Sound Machine also on the bill for May 24.

Speaking about next year’s festival, AEG Presents’ Executive Vice President for Live Music Jim King remarked: “We are thrilled to be returning to Victoria Park for a second year with an artist bill as exciting as our first year.

“We’re expanding our programme of free midweek entertainment and again working alongside some of the best local suppliers to produce an incredible ten days of entertainment with something for everyone.”

This year’s All Points East was headlined by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, LCD Soundsystem, Bjork, The xx and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Check out the the highlights from across both weekends of All Points East 2018 here.
