ALL SAINTS look closer to a split than ever, following yesterday’s (February 6)NME CARLING AWARDS.

Speaking at the bash at the Arches in Shoreditch, London, Natalie Appleton confirmed that the band’s UK and Europe tour was off and blamed it all on her bandmate Melanie Blatt.

Natalie, who was at the awards with boyfriend Liam Howlett from Prodigy, told The Sun newspaper: “It won’t happen. It doesn’t feel right to go on the road until we’ve cleared the air – and whether or not that will happen, I don’t know.”

She then launched a stinging attack on Melanie, saying she must decide whether or not she wants to be a “housewife”, and accusing her of having an ego problem, saying she was the one who walked out of the band and caused the problems in the first place.

Natalie, who sat with her sister Nicole and boyfriend Liam Gallagher, said she’d already been working on new stuff with her sibling – and hinted that the two might go on and release the material as a duo.

All Saints were awarded Best Pop Act in the awards, which were voted for by more than two million NME and NME.COM readers.
